A medical center has many aspects of their operations from the patients, the doctors, the employees, the administrators, or the visitors perspective to monitor. In addition, the measures may be looked at from different perspectives., For example, the # of admissions could be best if it is a higher number when the goal is to increase bed occupancy, or lower if managing a limited # of beds.
